Afisu Olabimtan, P.E., is President of APM & Associates, Inc., a Dallas engineering firm since 1989. Prior to forming APM, Afisu worked as a Structural Engineer for some of the largest engineering firms in Dallas and the Texas Department of Transportation where he was involved with the design of the North Central Expressway bridges.

 

Afisu graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1983 with a Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering; and in 1989, he earned his Master of Science in Business Management from the University of Texas at Dallas while continuing in his career as a structural engineer. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the States of Texas.

Afisu is an accomplished leader with a proven track record of success. He has been active in the engineering community, having served as President of the Dallas Council of Engineering Companies (Dallas – CEC), President of  and on the Board of Texas—CEC.
