Haskell Avenue from East Grand to Fitzhugh Avenue (Dallas, TX)
APM & Associates provided engineering services for the design to reconstruct Haskell Avenue from East Grand to Fitzhugh Avenue in Dallas as part of the 1991 Dallas County Bond program. Haskell Avenue within these limits is an existing thoroughfare through South Dallas in need of major rehabilitation. The improvement will widen the roadway to a 4-lane divided thoroughfare with bike lanes in each direction and upgraded the existing storm sewer to handle the 100-year flood as required by the City of Dallas. APM prepared the Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E) and assisted the County in getting the consensus of citizens and property owners. APM also coordinated the work with the Dallas Water Utilities in replacing aging water and sanitary sewer mains within the project limits.
