APM & Associates prepared Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E) for the reconstruction of Chalk Hill Road, from West Davis to Singleton Boulevard- a project length of 2.02 miles.  The roadway was a 2-lane asphalt pavement with side drainage ditches.  The improvement widened the roadway to a 6-lane divided thoroughfare with bike lanes on both sides.  The project crosses Interstate Highway 30 (I.H. 30) and two active railroads.  Major utilities within the project right-of-way included a 30-inch high-pressure gas line and numerous other utilities which had to be considered in the design.  APM services included design surveying and coordination with agencies, railroad companies and developers.
